Can't login to Saints Row Community?

I can login on saintsrow.com, but logging in in-game always says the username/password combo is invalid. Google says a lot of people have this issue and the devs responses being "we'll get around to fixing it." It's been down for like half a year I think the timestamps were?

Am I ever going to be able to login to the SR community in-game, or are all of those features essentially just gone for ever, and I can f- off for not having bought the game in time before they broke it?

I believe there's talk of this on another discussion thread. Something about it taking a lot longer than they thought or something.
Rumor has it that they'll fix it before Gat Out Of Hell comes out. I never trust rumors, but it sounds like a logical thing to do.

We're still working on it. It will likely not be back up for the release of Gat out of Hell.

i have to admit, i only got an account on the Saints Row website to get the achiviments and download cool characters, but this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. i didnt want to give it my Email but it dont even work.

What seems to be the issue? Is rebuilding the site fromt he ground up not feasible? After all this time, it could have been done... IF they were serious about it, that is.

The smart thing to do would be to delete the Saintified achievement but they don't seem to give a damn about it. And i bet they will put similar achievements in the next SR without having repaired all this....

We are absolutely serious about it, and do sympathize with you guys. We know this situation sucks.

I wish I could give more detail, but there are contract and legal issues in in the background that prevent me from doing so. Our original schedule to get things fixed obviously failed. We're now looking at alternate solutions. That's about as much as I can say right now.

too me it looks like your not going too fix it. even small gamecompanies can do this. i can even register on the site or on ingame.

Why can't the site just be reverted to the last working version? Undo what broke it? Or even start over from scratch?

Rumor has it that they tried to create a webpage of their own on squarespace but couldn't figure it out. They don't really trust anyone else because of the North Korean Sony hack. One really can't be that safe this day and age. There has been a lot of recent talk about Saints Row V being a board game. I'm really looking forward to it and hope that it is a hex based game like Civ V, but with cards. It's going to be so awesome, and they are not even going to announce that they won't interact with the customer base any more. I think it's cutting edge and very trendy. I hope we can have skype chats and play together.
