Problem With Saints Row 4 On My Window 8:Keyboard
The way to switch your powers is f1-f4. And if you've used windows 8, you'd know that f2 is lower brightness, f3 is increase brightness, and f4 is to multiscreen. So when I ever Ii try to change different powers in mission or anywhere else in the game, it just only allows me to change to blast which is f1, so i cant change to my other powers which are selected by f2.f3.f4.

Is there any way I can change my powers without having to buy a new keyboard which will be compatible to the Saints Row 4'S keyboard language.

You can either set up your keyboard to behave properly (last time I was doing that was on laptop and it was simple change in BIOS) or you can customize keys ingame and bind the superpower hotkeys to other keys.

How the hell do I do that, NEIT

As I said, how should F keys behave is a simple BIOS setting that needs to be switched, it's hard to give you exact instructions, since I don't have a slightest idea what computer are you using and it varies depending on your motherboard (or laptop) vendor and model.

Just try searching how to do it on your hardware, it's not rocket science. Here's the first step: http://google.com/

If you want to redefine keys instead, just launch the Saints Row IV, select options, controls and set keys & buttons, now you can modify what keys do what ingame.

That must be a laptop thing because my Windows 8.1 desktop doesn't have issues with the F keys. Or a GPU driver setup could be doing it.

Yep, definitely sounds like a laptop thing. I really can't imagine Microsoft deciding to change the defacto "Help" and "Rename" hotkeys after well over two decades of use.

But that is still weird, most laptop vendors involve some sort of "Fn" key in conjunction with the F# keys for those features.
