New Game won't start.
The main menu pops up, I hit 'new game' select 'casual' and then the game crashes. Already reinstalled and verifyed cache. Any help?

I did that other thing you said "replace the line "Preset = -1" with "Fullscreen = false" " and now it goes past the diffcult selector but it still don't play the game.
I don't know how to turn off the steam overlay.

Still doesn't work. Like, it loading just a bit. Then the game crashes and restarts again.

It just started running for some reason, but it runs like arse. Everything takes a half second to pick-up. Even on the lowest of settings. But that could just be having a not great computer.

i have the same problem and i did the same things and they didnt work i was really looking forward to playing this :(

Are you running Windows 8? Also, who else here runs Windows 8 and has problems.

Mine auto-restarts itself after I start the opening mission. I can move maybe 10 feet, game closes out to desktop, and then just restarts itself. No idea what to do here.

Have you tried updating your video drivers? If that still doesn't work, please post a full dxdiag and we can take a look.

I think its because of that stupid windows technical preview im its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous i had to install my drivers back and my windows recovery disk fails at 93%
