HELP!! Ive forgotten how to use/change your superpowers!

I can remember that if you press Q you use the power you've selected but i can't remember how to select a power. I haven't played the game for months please help!!! Also as im posting this im in a mission where you need to throw CID up in the air, please help!!

Fairly sure the default is the F1 - F4 keys.
You could check in the control options though probably.

It's the F1-4 keys, and double-tap to change the element.

Alternatively, press [Tab] and go into the powers section to manually choose the power and element setting. I find this easier, myself.
