For walking I just bound a toggle key to my Alt buttons.
True. forgot about those. But there's not many of them.
Not so it matters. Yeah, a little but its not a game-ending thing. And I drive full throttle and steer with "A" and "D" and power-slide ("space-key" + "A" or "D") to make hard turns.
Get used to driving fast and avoiding obstacles if you plan to drive around as a criminal. Its par for the course...watch any action movie. ;D Regardless of the supermove abilities, learning to drive the car is essential in several missions, especially when tailing Maero. Plus its fun to race around Steelport. I routinely follow the "L" train tracks just for fun. With certain Nitrous Oxide "perks" you can blow-up any car you collide with while Nitrous Oxide boost is active. There are certain vehicles that suck to drive, no matter how beefed up they are. I like the Bootlegger, it has a moderate amount of speed, maneuverability, old-school good looks (reminds me of a 1973 Australian Ford Falcon from Mad Max, and a 1971 Pontiac Trans Am) and it sounds like a healthy V8 engine. Avoid driving big trucks, buses, monster trucks, and the Compensator, they take hits well, but they are slow and because they are heavy they just dont turn. The only reason to drive a monster truck is to flatten most any car that gets in your way...except the big trucks and tanks.
No matter what people complained of in SR3, the O.P. is talking about SR4.
You can change your walking mode too. You can either jog, walk, or sprint. Check your keyboard options. This doesnt affect your driving mode though.
