saint row iv worth it?

i havent rly played it or gave it chance much ,but i was wondering is it worth it to install this game again and play to beat the game or dont even bother? im wondering if the storys worth it or just the game play in general if u never played it before..

Well, you played for 7+ hours so you should have some kind of general idea, what this game is all about.

I really like the game and i´d compare it more to prototype than its own predecessors. If you want another Saints Row 2 or 3, you might be dissapointed.

If you like using obscure weapons and abilities to blow up ♥♥♥♥ up, like me, you´ll have your share of fun.
The Story is actually intentionally not creative or "good"! This game is a satire and you´ll be reminded of that at every turn. The cutscenes are some of the most hilarious i´ve ever seen.
Whether or not you like that kind of comedy is up to you.
But if you laugh at stuff like airplane, the naked gun or even monty python, you´ll probably enjoy the game.

I don´t think i´ve ever laughed as much, playing a game.

If you are looking for deep, life-changing, philosophical and spiritual value out of playing this game...No. Its very not worth it.

The game is crass, stupid, rude, shallow, immoral, offensive, and unoriginal. But it is fun. And it has its cool moments. I've finished it several times.

If you are looking for some video-game oriented entetainment, I dont see how its any worse than 99% of every other video game out there.

Bought it on sale because i was sceptic to it, having played the previous Saints Row games, but i loved it. Great humour, lots of references to movies etc as if it was made for me, the super powers are awesome. This is the best game in the series, considering all the factors. Surprisingly few bugs. Thats one of the things that surprised me the most because, as i said before, i had my experiences with the earlier games in the series. Saints row 3 turned me off on the series - Saints row 4 turned me on again!

If you haven't played much or any of the story then you're missing out on a lot of the fun stuff you unlock as the story progresses.

Grabbed this on sale at the weekend an im now kicking myself for not getting the GOTY edition.
I actually prefer it to the previous one, as funny as it sounds for this game the plot feels stronger & its a hella lot of fun running riot in a matrix style world:)

Ya, its defs worth the price - expecially if you can get it on sale. Was my first Saints Row game and I don't regret getting into the franchise.

If you're looking for a Grand Theft Auto type game, keep looking, as chances are, once you get your speed running and high jumping ability, you won't get in more than a few cars in your entire playthrough. I did really enjoy the game, it's a lot of fun, but it's not something you should get if you are looking for anything to tide you over until GTAV hits PC.

If you liked Prototype, though, you might like this, it's pretty close to that. I also find ♥♥♥♥ and fart jokes hilarious, and there's a lot of that going around in this game.

It's basically The Matrix: Path of Neo+Batman: Arkham City+an alien invasion. What's not to love about that?
