RAP GAME ALLIGATOR, RAP GAME ELEVATOR
damn that Mad Decent radio be playing throughout the whole game
One of the only good songs in the entire game. That and Aerosmith. I'd throw in Song 1 but I've had to do that with a band over and over and over and I can't stand it anymore. Still, it pays the bills.
But yeah, this game has very poor choices in music this time to the point I've completely turned it off until I can find a mod that adds music from the other games into this one.
Who's Stan Bush? I don't know anyone of these artists^^;
K12 and Mad Decent are my favorites, but sometimes I activate KRhyme and Four 20 to mix things up a bit.
I will say that I don’t get why Klassic is there because, hey I like some classical music from time to time – but not when I’m playing this kind of game. And you would expect an oldster who was in high school in the late 80’s and college in the early 90’s to listen to his own generation’s music and hook up “The Mix.” But, no, most of these songs I’ve heard hundreds of times already and some I just plain never liked. Except Cypress Hill, because Insane in the Membrane never gets old.
Now that I’ve got about 20 hours in the game some songs are wearing on me, so like others have said I’m gonna pick and choose with the game's playlist.
Because out of the lot, you only named one good artist.
Most anyone who isn't an old school Transformers fan or who is younger than, say, thirty doesn't know Stan Bush. "The Touch" was originally going to debut in an 80's Sylvester Stallone pile of dog mess called "Cobra." No doubt Stan Bush is happy that instead of being part of one of the worst movies of all time, this song has become indelibly associated with one fo the most awesome robots in the history of TV and film: Optimus Prime. As part of the 1986 animated Transformers movie, "The Touch" is a stirring, heroic theme featured primarily when Prime is being awesome.
To note, "The Touch" is also featured in the opening movie for Shadow Warrior.
That being said, I actually don't like the song very much, and only revere it for its nostalgic value.
