achievements not unlocking (no cheats)

So recently I came back to SR4 and wanted to unlock all of the missing achievements. However, i noticed that im unable to unlock them.

Best example right now would be Back in the Day achievement, I called Kinzie, hang out with her for over 2 hours in 1 game (without even closing it once) outside of missions just collecting data clusters. The challenge for doing that popped up but achievement didn't. I waited few more minutes because counter could be wrong or something but i still havn't receive it.

Next example would be Where's My Cape? achievement which didnt unlock even after getting all regular cluster upgrades and upgrades from missions.


I have never ever used a cheat in this game (there is no even point in doing that coz it is easy...) so my achievements should not be disabled. Only thing i can come up with is people who cheat join my game but i kick them out immediatelly as soon as message shows up, so it shouldnt matter right?

Any ideas? (yes i tried starting the new game and it didnt help)

If you save your game after someone joins with cheats activated then it will flag your save as cheats enabled. It shouldn't touch your autosave though.

ok but why I'm unable to get achievements on New game as well? Shouldn't it reset to "normal" state if i start entirely new game from skratch?

It should, yes. Are you perhaps playing in offline mode?

only if i lose connection to steam during the game :D I guess I'll try reinstalling the game, because veryfing cache did not help.

Also, you said something about game saves being "flagged", is there anyway i can see that somewhere or is it just in game thing?


Edit: Reinstallation helped, I already managed to get two different achievements.
Also is there anyway to get the achievement called "Saintified" or is it totally unobtainable at this point?

Having the same problem. Wife and I played 20 hours in co-op and she received most if not all co-op stuff and I didn't.

There should be only one coop achievement. Did you mean that you were not receiving any of the story or other achievements as well? Were you the host or client?

Same issue here. Started a new playthrough to check and in this example "Back in the Day achievement" did unlock in the game but doesn't in Steam. I suppose the issue is that it is flagged and the game doesn't re-sync it with steam. I did read somewhere that there is a cache-file to delete to force a re-synch but... it didn't say which one in that post and I can't find anything else regarding that. Quite annoying...

Well I had this problem on linux with SR4 6 months before but wanna start playing with my new acc in about 1 or 2 days to see if it's doing well or not.
