Game crashes in the Let's Pretend store.

Hello, I have the problem that when I enter the store Let's Pretend and go to the piercings option, if I select a piercing from the beginning, like the 3rd or 4th one, the game crashes and goes back to the desktop. Is anyone else experiencing this? Regards.

Yeah, I'm currently using the legacy version for extra mod support and crashes are very frequent for me both in stores and customization menus and just randomly during normal gameplay(like 3-4 crashes in less than ~30 mins.) Might have to drop the mods and go back to the newer version and see if that helps.

if for the game to work you have to use the legacy version very sad

I'm using the legacy version and it crashes a lot. I've tried running in Win 7 compatibility and it still crashed a lot.

Edit: Ok so, I think got rid of most of the crashes for the legacy version; I used a 4gb patcher on the game's exe and was able to play for several hours before it crashed(in the clothing menu in a store.) I then also limited the max fps to 60 in nvidia control and it seems to have helped as I was able to play for a few more hours without crashing and I was intentionally hitting up the stores / customizing cars to see if it would crash in the customization menus like before.

tl;dr -- use a 4gb patcher and then limit the fps to 60 in nvidia control panel
While it's too early to say whether this has fixed all my crashes, it's definitely helped.
