Saints Row IV: Re-Elected issue thread

Hi everyone,

We are aware of a number of issues occurring with the SRIV Re-Elected upgrades on PC - we are actively investigating the following:

Saves not working - Fixed
crashing/not starting on Epic and Steam
SRIV Legacy Branch pulling the wrong build on Steam - this should now be fixed
Mods not working correctly

***IMPORTANT*** in the case of saves it is very important you send us your save files so we can see what format they are in and please let us know the file path on your PC where they are saved, this is critical to us working out what has gone wrong with these, as we have been unable to replicate these issues so far. We also will need information on if your issues have come from an old installation or a fresh new install.

Just create a separate App ID for that Nintendo Switch port and give us back the normal version of Saints Row IV.

I have a tradition of playing Saints Row IV during Christmas holidays, and now my game won't even launch "thanks" to an update no one asked for.

Looks like the patch today fixed the legacy version. Try that

Yes, i have compared the binary of all the files with the Game of the century version and had a 100% match.
It's the original.

bro this game used to work so well now i cant even get passed the loading screen after i select campaign since the update.

nice. lets hope they dont muck up the legacy option now they sorted it.
(altho they mucked it up in the first place as nothing downloaded when changing to legacy)

I never experienced this issue before the upgrade, but recently I have noticed that whenever I do a super jump and follow up with the blast ability, it also triggers the command to do a dash forward. The default button to use an ability is Q. Changing it resolved the issue, but it may be that for whatever reason the Q key is also assigned to the dash command. Is anyone else having this issue?

I've seen problems with lost saves but anyone else loads them from the main menu fine but cant in game?

At first i thought it was cause of proton but i had the same issue on windows 11.

They ruined the game to push Epic spyware what a scam. Stop trying to force ppl to use your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ service. Epic alienate customers by this kinda ♥♥♥♥. This is exactly why I no longer buy AAA games.

Пробывал переустанавливать не помогло даже EGS не помогла. До этого обновления было всё нормально(ни вылетов,ни ошибок,ни повреждения сохранения и.т.п). Ждём фиксов или говорите как-же это исправить

I would send you mine, but they are GONE. Empty, nada, zilch, 0. It was a fresh install, and my cloud saves after I installed this updated version are disabled and empty (0 of 100 MB). I lost all keybindings and characters so thanks for that.

I had this too and didn't realize it was an issue, I know it didn't happen when landed so I just thought I had to be on the ground before I could use telekinesis or blast.

It's still there. When I start a new game for re-elected it says "The storage device you have selected does not have enough space to create a new save. Select a new storage device or select another game to overwrite." The only options are continue without saving or cancel. there's nothing to overwrite, no other saves, nothing. So you can only play without saving.

Still can't get to the main menu. Just keeps freezing up after the intro movies. Can't even get the task manager with mouse; have to use Keyboard to kill off sr4.

Is your Task Manager set to Always On Top? Check its Options menu while the game isn't running.

Microsoft, in their great wisdom, changed the default setting, and it makes the TM rather useless until you toggle it back.
