Alright so I have a question for anyone who might be more knowledgeable on Havok than me.

This game (and I guess The Third as well) feels like the Just Cause 2 engine. The way guns work, movement, graphics (such as explosions), how cars get deformed in the same way. But I was always under the impression Havok isn't a game engine as much as just various engines you can use in your game for physics or AI or things like that.

Just Cause 2 is listed as using the Avalanche 2.0 engine, from Avalanche, the people who made it. But this feels just like that game...so is the feel of Just Cause 2 caused not by Avalanche 2.0, but rather by Havok? Or is it possible that this game uses Avalanch 2.0 and Havok and that's why it is so similar?

Correction. It's the CTG engine which stands for Core Technology Group. It's our own proprietary engine developed here in-house.

You do use Havok for ragdolls and car deformation though right?

Cool that's probably why I'm reminded so much of JC2. Thanks!
