[Solved] Lost powers after playing Coop

*FIX* - Used mission replay mod to replay the missions which unlock powers.

Allow me to apologise for the long winded text, I'm just trying to include as much information as possible. Bare with me.

After not playing in quite a long time, I installed the game last night to play a session of coop with my friend.

He started a new save whereas I loaded my previous save with around 55% completion. I had infinite super sprint, gliding, and I believe Ice, Fire, TK and Mind control unlocked of the ranged powers. Some of these were locked when I joined my friends, but I got them back once he'd unlocked them for himself for the first time.

Everything was fine, played for around 2 hours, during which I was disconnected twice due to my friend being disconnected from steam for a few minutes, both times I was sent back to the main menu to rejoin. Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary after this.

I started the game today to play some singleplayer, and the first thing I notice I have absolutely 0 powers, I can't super sprint, jump, nothing. I go to check the "Powers" tab in the phone, and this is where the game bugs out, I can see what looks like the list of powers begin to appear in the upper left corner, but it doesn't fully materialise, meanwhile I am now stuck looking at the phone tabs and half of the power menu in the background, and can't click or do anything. Only option is to ALT F4.

NOTE: It autosaves at this exact moment, perhaps that has something to do with it.

I reload the save, to find the exact same symptoms, although this time the "Powers" tab is greyed out, and reads something like "01101001", and doesn't actually say "Powers" anymore.

I figure at this point maybe things will right themselves if I do a super power activity or something, so I do a Trailblazing activity, and to my surprise, no super powers, rendering me unable to complete this activity. I try the same thing with quest missions, but I'm still stripped of my powers here too, infact I am on a mission where I have to TK CID high into the air, but with no powers at all I can't progress anymore.

This is where I realise, I probably should've had more than one save, but that's my fault, lesson learned.

In conclusion: Is this save completely ruined? Am I able to retrieve a cloud save somehow? Is there anything I can do to salvage this situation?

UPDATE: Just rejoined said friend with the same save file and everything is working as it should, deleted my saves and saved fresh during this session, still no change in singleplayer. Seems everything is fine when I play coop, but broken in singleplayer.

I think you could try some options if you have some patience. Either use a save editor, a save file or download the mission replay mod and complete the missions that give you Powers.

Thank you Arondight, I tried the mission replay mod you mentioned, and that seems to have done the trick. After replaying the missions that unlock powers for the first time, my save is now back to normal and I can continue.

I don't remember the exact name of the missions themselves, there were 4 I believe quite early on in the game.

Edit: The quest to unlock powers is called "Learn the rules"

Cheers, I figured it out. I had to manually save it just before the quest ended because it will keep wanting to repeat itself...
