Public Playtest Now Available

Playtest Now Available!

A public playtest for Presence is now available! Go ahead and click the 'Request Access' button on the store page, and you will automatically be given access and have the playtest in your game library.

This playtest consists of the latest build of the game, with all the up-to-date features. It is an alpha build of the game, and so everything is subject to change. Expect minor issues/bugs, but hopefully nothing game breaking.

The goal of this playtest is to let you guys have a taste of how the game feels and plays, and to allow you all to give your feedback on what you would like to see improved!

New Trailer

Here is a simple 35s trailer put together for the playtest release. It briefly shows some of the awesome skills you can acquire, the random generation, and the new class tree features.

Game's Future

The release of this public playtest is a major milestone in the game's development. There is a playable, fairly stable, version of the game!

From this playtest, only a few more fundamental systems need to be added, and from there development will be focused on expanding the actual content within the game.

There may be a series of updates to the playtest in the future to test these new implementations.

From there, we can start to look towards a release! (Currently looking at about a years time)

Development Update #1

Hello everyone! It has been sometime since the release of the first Playtest version, and in that time Presence has seen some major additions and changes.

If you want to see a detailed breakdown of one of the new features on its way, be sure to check out my latest devlog on YouTube.

There will be a few more videos releasing in the weeks to come, exploring the major additions to the game, ranging from the new leveling system to the addition of a whole new area. With new additions come testing, and so I wanted to announce that Presence's Pre Alpha Version 2.0 will be releasing on the Playtest this upcoming July 28th!

I cannot express how different the game feels, and how much more fun it is too play. With new items, 25+ skills, and 15 different classes to play around with, I am excited to see you all play the game in its new state.

However, again this is releasing on the Playtest version of the game, so I am also looking for feedback on the games systems, new and old. As well as fixing any bugs that appear in the playtest.

I can't wait for this to be in your hands. Be sure to request access for the playtest, wishlist Presence, and keep an eye out for more videos on the YouTube page.

Presence Playtest Live!

After over a year of sparse development thus far, the first play test for Presence in now live! You can request access, and starting this Friday will be able to play the game! I am super excited to release what I have done thus far to the public.

Before playing, do remember this is a VERY early build of the game. I have tried my best to make it as stable as possible and remove as many bugs as possible, however it is a early build so bugs and major crashes should not be far from reality. Now, I have not ran into any major crashes myself, but who knows!

The game is roughly 10-20 minutes long as of right now. If you get a chance, I would love for anyone who plays the play test to fill out this feedback form. It is also available in game by clicking the 'Give Feedback' button on the main menu.
