Are these gameplay elements intentional?
Movement
Specifically going up inclines. The best way I can explain it is like I'm in a ball trying to roll up a slope. But then I turn sideways and fly off at normal speed. Not that big on an issue, but it dose throw me off mentally more times than I realize.

Economy
Scrap is used for either increasing max HP/EP or healing. However, because enemies don't respawn, you are potentiality gimping yourself every time you heal. It's just better to die and come back with 100% instead of burning scrap at the battery fountain. And because enemies don't respawn, you're never in danger of losing your scrap after it drops. So it makes me question what's the point of scrap dropping on death a feature at all.

Thank you for the feedback! We will continue to tweak the movement. Every bit of feedback helps us to hone it.

As for the economy, we got a good amount of feedback with first builds where players were furious about losing their scraps when dying. Then we decided to try this approach.

We will continue to work with both of these. Keep the feedback coming! :)

Slopes can be a programming stumbling block if you don't know how to handle them. I'm assuming it's unintentional and should be worked out before release. It'll be a very bad sign if they don't.

The economy is so poorly thought out I'm assuming this is the game designer's first game. It feels like something that was added just because they wanted to try it. Given the negative feedback I've seen here and elsewhere, I'm hoping the designer is looking into or experimenting with alternatives.

Congratulations on never losing scrap, though. I lost some to environmental damage zones and to enemies with weird animations.

I see. Sorry for beating a dead horse then. I eagerly await the next chapter.

Slopes are definitely a stumbling block =D its our first FPS / Action title, and the movement used to suck REALLY HARD a year ago (speed was bad, jumping didnt work, climbing sent you thru geometry, you got stuck on stairs and walls, etc). We´ve fixed most of it by now - - the slopes are on our to-do list. Another one that´s dang hard to get right is the swimming, which we´re aware of.

For the Scraps and player progress, we´ve talked of these over the development & now it feels like our worst sin, so we´re pushing drastic changes into the next version.

All in all, we pushed the game into Early Access really really early & we´ve tried to keep a good dynamic with our players - whenever something bad comes to light, we´ll have steps to make the game better. Its been a really, really rewarding way to work and I hope people will stick with us ´till its something we can all be proud and happy about.

That won’t be a problem. We’ll stick around ;)

You’re doing a great job so far. And I’m positive you’ll get there.
