playing on normal difficulty. enemies (regular animals & raiders) dealing 70 damage a hit while the characters only deal about 30 seems quite off. so in the last run i went 2x tank + 1slayer + archer , tanks fully skilled block and slayer full parry skilled. Got through 2 monster groups and the first raid without losses. however, the 2nd raid, the heal of the goblin healer was too strong, i had all 4 people hit the healer for 2 rounds and at the end the healer was still almost at full health....

What do people find are the best starting 3 roster? I am inclining toward an archetype of tank, healer, and ranged DPS (I find most melee DPS difficult to use in games of this nature until uber gear comes online); but I am having a difficulty figuring out the precise class. For instance, how does the Human Knight compare with the Dwarven Champion? And...

just get rid of that. sure, refusal to work in some areas because of being upset, fine. but to the point no farming, cooking and would rather starve to death? huh? that makes no sense in any way shape or form and i don't care what genre of game i see it in involving living beings. thing everyone when adding those kind of emotional mechanics to a game should ALWAYS ask themselves would it happen in the real world...and the answer would be in this case, never....

Once I've cleared the mines my workers don't interact with them, I've tried setting them to max prio and assigning beds to workers next to them but I never get any ore. In general I don't know how they work. Is it possible to discover the mines early on if you dig a lot or are there other limiting factors to their spawn?...

massive hp and easily makes 2 your damage dealers incapable of doing damage. (terrify every other turn ie no attack capability on strongest and sends a bird to scratch eyes ie make 90% miss on your 2nd strongest).
