But the game has less than a year of life, your argument is not valid. And I don't see how it's a loss that a joke item that has no real use in the game disappears? It's the same with the pre-order costumes, it doesn't add anything, it doesn't give any advantage to the players who didn't pre-order. As said, the item we're talking about here, only rots the inventory, it was clearly announced in the description when it was available. For a dlc of a game with quest additions I agree it's a shame if it's not accessible afterwards even as a paid dlc. But you're not going to throw a fit over a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ costume or a useless item, you're being really ridiculous.
I'm not making a point, while... I agree that when it's a quest or real content given exclusively to those who pre-order as a feature (Hi, Elden Ring) or items that can offer a better game experience while being unavailable in game, then it's a shame. Yes, it takes away from the game experience and this kind of practice should be fought. But for a joke item with no use... I don't think this is the fight to be waged.
Wasn't Elden Ring's in-game pre-order bonus just a gesture which you can eventually get without pre-ordering?
I would agree if the object had any value, but it´s literally 3 dialogues:

And don´t give me the "oh but I want to hear every single joke in the game" when there´s plenty of times where the game present you with say 6 dialogue options and you can only select one. Did you create a save to choose the 6 different dialogue options so you could hear every line of dialogue in the game? DId you complete the game solving the puzzles in every way possible both in hard and normal just to make sure you hear every line of dialogue?
This thread is so pointless, you wanted the pre-order bonus you should have pre-order, period.
Elden Ring had offered for those who precomanded the possibility to modify the clothes via sewing from the beginning and on any grace site. This possibility was added for other players 8 months later and in the form of a npc to save before being able to use this feature. If you kill this npc, you lose this feature unlike those who pre-ordered it
