It's got over 6K subscribers and 99+% approval. It's been touted by gamers like DasTactic and the folks at Explorminate as one of the best and most transformative mods for any 4x game. It makes Warlock 2, a decent game, into one of the finest 4x games you'll every play.
It does require the expansion and most of the DLC to run, so pick it all up when it goes on sale (though many have said it's worth the regular price with the mod).
