that's the tragedy of RS Legends. from discord to forum to steam, nobody has found a game even remotely along the same lines. sadfacepanda

Damn, really hope at least someone would have made a game like it :/

yeah, so sad when the server closed. I enjoy that game, it's really more on the strategic plat than relying on cards.

Would be nice if the could make it into a board game, maybe using kickstarter for help.

yeah, that's a great idea. It's an adventure card game, so it is quiet possible to make it into a game board game. And, we don't need any server to keep playing the game, that a plus for me ^^
oh SHOOT BROS IDEA TIME. So, uh... well, if you think this can be done as a tabletop board game, then why not work through developing/translating the mechanics by using Tabletop Simulator?

I have no idea if the Tabletop Sim can use cards/decks, but... yeah. It'd be worth a shot. (I do not own TTS so I can't look into this.)

it is entirely possible to technically make a modded board for TTS but TTS doesn't have automatic resolution for mechanics. so placing cards and letting them resolve is 100% on the players to actually roleplay out basically. nothing is automated in TTS in any way shape or form as far as I know. I own TTS but I haven't used it in quite some time myself.

And even then TTS doesn't allow for saved decks and the like. You could technically load up the board with all of the cards, create your deck, then save the board in the state it's in with the deck put together but that deck would only then be available when your'e hosting and as the host you'd have to load up the saved state of the board. You'd then have to wait for whoever you're playing against to create their deck. So I just don't see TTS working as an alternative to the real thing.

Now not sure if this is technically against the rules of steam, but I'd alternatively suggest creating private servers for the game to at least keep playing against other players even if no new content is ever made. And even then new content could technically be made via the steam workshop if that still functions within the private servers.
