How to finish robot club easily
This event need you to control robot.and some people think it is hard. so i decide to give some tips. hope them would help you.
The match need you cover the blocks with piece you or your ai robot get.and the goal is cover more blocks than your enemy before the time ending.
However there is another goal:make your block link to enemy's base and cover it(one block is ok.)
so the fastest way to beat enemy is just make blue blocks cover the enemy's base.
AND,trying to get the great damage weapon and equip it with your main robot.
if you can.just do the same thing on your ai robot.
remember that before you start, you can get special buff by chance your ai robot's type. some special item would give ai the ability to attack enemy first to abandon their move.
watch out these buff. it could help you defend enemy.
then HOW to upgrade your robot? try to get the maximum damage you can get now. then trying to use the fastest type.at last is your HP.

FOR ME. i usually try to raise my attack.so most enemy would just be break by one hit(hammer).and the special buff i give to ai is attack enemy.
REMEMBER that training match can get material to upgrade your robot.
hope these would help you.

Customisation tips from me:

1. Mobile Attack Module are extremely potent when combined with any ranged weapon + 2 modules that enhances ammo and ranged dmg. Any other mods are optional but Mobile Attack is a must for ranged.

2. Power as a stat is more situational than implied. Focus on speed over power. Green batteries are a good example of this. Keep using red batteries for your mobile types - it can't take anything else anyway.

3. For maximum AI effectiveness, either craft a bot that has a built-in AI module or make an AI mod yourself and put it in. A bot without AI modules are less effective in regards to everything, while a bot that is using an external AI mod has one less space for other mods. Make a choice, do you want a balanced team with decked out mods or a skewed one with 2 bots using ATTACK AI module? Choice is yours, it works just as well.

Why don't you write this up as a guide instead of a rando forum post? Personally I found the robot club easy, but I suppose games shouldn't be exclusive to smart people.

Bruh why do you even need a guide for this ♥♥♥♥ mini game.

Just put 2 rifles on the CPU, one tank and chase, the other speed and capture AI.
You take the Hammer for OS.
Don't need speed, wtf would you need that ? Just put the chip that doesn't slow you down on red squares.
Last mission can't put your OS sutff on the robot ? Just change the power core, downgrade it and it works, i was super slow but still did the mission in a min cause they can't do ♥♥♥♥, they get OS all the time.

I have to admit that I'm having alot of problems with this. I've beaten the early parts very easily by doing the exact thing that is suggested here - just make a line of blue squares to touch enemy base.

Now I'm on round 1 vs Meiga and I've lost like 10 times. The problem that I have is that it suddenly feels like a 1v3 fight. My 2 AI partners are doing literally nothing. I've observed at least 1 robot just staying in my spawn area multiple times.

Meanwhile all 3 of my opponent's robots are zooming around the arena super fast. 1 is like a heat seeking missile coming straight to kill me constantly while the other 2 pick up all the blocks. Then as soon as my robot dies, they connect the blocks to my base and win before I can respawn.

It really doesn't seem like an issue with robot part development and customisation, its that my allies are just literally doing nothing and leaving me to fight by myself.

BTW I'm playing on hard combat and I'm on chapter 10 without much problems, I've completed the esports and skateboard clubs, and I've got 80% completion of dance club currently locked from progressing because I don't have enough appeal or whatever the stat is called. The point being, my problem here is also not because I'm bad at games.

only thing I'm stuck so far is that robot crap. completed all other clubs and in the final chapter of the main story now. that tetris stuff is terrible. but thanks for the guide.

So I finally managed to finish robotics and it did in fact turn out to be a problem with robot equipment. It seems that with melee weapons equipped, they just stay in spawn area and do nothing, but with ranged weapons, they actually attack the enemies.

Of course there's still the problem of how the game's RNG will sometimes just spawn all the blocks next to enemy robots so you literally can't collect them, but after retrying each fight multiple times eventually the game will let you win.

I really hated playing this, so glad I don't have to do it again.

hmmm, i play ex-hard.
you just need upgrade the battery and the speed for your main robot.
another two robot upgrade the body defense even no chips need.

in the final round, change to "speed mode" play like usual, that all.

It really is not that hard, as OP mentioned the whole goal is just build a line to the enemy base and place a block that goes into it, this strat works through the end, although in the end You unfortunately are forced to use a Tank and also the devs seem to forget about giving you the necessary shiny aluminium(i guess) as a reward in the last few training sets to upgrade it properly, meaning even with a crippled tank i did win at few tries just by crushing those in my way relaying on ai to get me the pieces, only that part was anoying
Meaning high movement so you can get the pieces faster boosting to these is also good. build a line to the base, and have a weapon that crushes the foes that is blocking your way to victory. Also read the comments others made, some good tips.

not that hard? well great for <you>.... i gave up on this
i hated this from the very start..the only "positive suprise" was that with ai switched on with some luck it was possible to win..well **untill** later matches
i actually even made a thread about it ("Robotic club match: team NT (WTF)" )
with barely any input/reactions at all....
