not souls like at all in anyway other than maybe difficulty with that being a rather dangerous slope to discover if you actually like a game.

i say take this more in the sense of say... read dead 2? massive open world with lots of stories and side stories to do but then also add in the fact you can have more options of weapons vs just lasso and gun.

or i guess another way to describe it is, hack n slash beat em up open world game with deep story and characters that will test your mettle as you find the dragon that stole your heart

It's more like, hmm, I would say Dark Souls 1, open world, but with more like Devil May Cry-ish combat mechanics, minus the goofy looking air juggle.

It's difficult enough yes, at least till your super leveled, but it's about fighting larger monsters on average so one could compare it to monster hunter. Bit really it's dragons dogma, and no other game really does it similar. It's not some super easy game no, but it's not some dodgy boss fighter souls game.

I think it really depends on how you define "souls like".

The game does not rely on a single currency gained by defeating monsters. And make you loose said currency when you die, forcing you to track back to retrieve your lost currency, potentially loosing them forever if you die again before retrieving them. In this game, if you doe, you just restart from your last checkpoint with nothing lost. Gameplay also doesn't rely on a hard lock on mechanic like in souls games.

well it seems like souls style game thats why i said

If the goal is about the same difficulty and you haven't played the first dragons dogma it'll ne fine for you. If you want a clone of the gameplay this isn't it.

If you want other aspect of souls, it shares little else lol if I don't understand the specify which part of souls games are you looking for? Open world? Invasions? Bosses? Or is just difficult all you care for?

im not lookin for souls like games , i only say it seems like souls like game , if this a normal adventure rpg game that mean a lot of people like it , and it seems to elden ring characters thats all i want to say xd
