Not enough Healer mages.
All i see in the rift is copy after copy of mages with the same crap . all made into Sorcerers , i cant find a healer and curer cos maybe some DUMB-ASS on you tube said his build was good and the Dumber and Dumber follow suite.
All have ice affinity and celestial thingy? and attack spells. (50% of my play is at night against undead, fire or lightning would be better, or None would be better.).

None have full healing OR poison cure, Yet why they don't just go with sorcerer?.

Use this...

1. Cure spell
1.Enchant spell / or buff
1.Full healing spell /Ranged Healing spell
1.Attack Spell or buff
For me! this ^ is what makes a *healer*.

And dont forget you're Augments.!

I'd like to switch my pawn back and forth between Mage and Sorc, but it simply isn't viable in this game. For some reason, they decided to limit how many times you can change inclinations. As far as I can see, Rift Incense is a limited sale item. So, my pawn is going to stay Sorc forever.

They restock but it costs RC which limits you a bit but the art of metamorphosis that lets u recustomize your pawn also lets you change inclination so it’s just cheaper to do it that way than with incense since it costs 500 instead of 2000

If they restock, that's cool. I'll have to check that later. A bit weird that they don't just make it an unlimited item in the shop, though.

I have a healer pawn at level 60 with High Palladium, High Celerity, High Halidom, and Argent Succor. The equipment is Legion's Might for auto revive, Twilight Star, Charming Corset, Ceremonial Cape, Ring of Recitation, and Ring of Resolution. She has the Woodland Wordsmith specialty and the Pawn ID is 8VFVPHVM0W6E
Tis a good mage Ser! I shall add her to favourites . a little low but thats no problem for a good setup mage , that knows to remain out of combat. however she needs the Less-likely to be attacked augment , or did i just miss that?
I did forget to equip that skill but changed it and grinded out more levels to make her a little stronger.

Celestial Paean can be ridiculously effective on bosses. Especially against the beacon dragons in Unmoored world. Glues melee pawns to the boss and lets ranged go nuts with abilities.

That's all I use on mine. I don't think mine has one offensive spell.

High Levin
High Palladium
Celestial Paean
Maybe an affinity or Halidom

Anything else doesnt really seem worthwhile at later levels

Any mage pawn with Succor or Halidom sloted is a hard pass for me. Curatives are free and exist for a reason.

Offensive Spell - Levin
Shield - Palladium
Utility - Celerity/Celestial Paean
Affinity - Any

Legion's Might and all dwarven enchanted armor with fire resistance.

Only logical reason to slot heals or cures is if you're playing with Custom Difficulty Tweaks mod and blocked using curatives during battle or when knocked down.

The basic healing that any mage can do is good enough, slotting a skill for more healing is bad.
I like mages with Halidom and being able to forget about curatives... I am lazy.

To the OP, the same situation existed in DD1. I also posted about it. I got a heap of replies that above level 20, it was better to go with healing potions that healed the entire group, than to allocate one of a mage pawns allocated slots to heals. At level 39, I can't say I've seen the equivalent healing potions in DD2. That's just some background on the whole subject. Right now, the best approach in DD2 is just what others have said here: make your main pawn a mage, and allocate the skills yoy want them to use.

its ok , yall do what yo want,im only hiring a healer, now and when dlc comes, i might just go with my own healer by then, but i still wont be hiring any if these builds, even if the game had no enemy .
