My permit to enter Battahl...

Does not require me to wear the Beastren mask. Never was anything about having to be a Beastren ever mentioned anywhere yet in all of the guides it says you have to get the Beastren mask. So whats up with that?

mask is needed if you didnt arrest the battahl spy in arisens shadow quest, not sure if it does anything when you smuggle yourself in, if you are at bakbattahl without a pass guards constantly stalk you and ask you what are you doing there but do nothing lol

nothing happens when you sneak in a different way thats what i did cause im not wasting money on a ugly mask ill never use again

Ive not seen anyone else post the issue i have so ill mention it here....
I tackled bermudo, refused to let him go.... we fought.. he hit the ground, and nothing else happened.. the cutscene with captain brant did NOT occur..
hovering the mouse over bermudo showed his name, but no interaction.. I picked him up , moved him around from time to time... even tossed him into the river outside of the city!
his body remained there for several real life days... even after loading a save...
now about a week later, i dont see his body anymore and he has not respawned.. so I can't further that quest to get the info from him and the mask.
so i'm basically stuck with having to get the mask, or get around the gate until i get the residential pass. Just thought I'd note this here in case anyone else had the same problem.

I suspect (but i have absolutely nothing to base it on) that it might have been due to the sheer amount of prejudice my pawns showed him lol... they attacked him with such fury that I didnt get a single attack off on him before he was on the ground.

p.s. this happened after the previous update, NOT the current one.. his body stopped being there after the current patch.

His body might be at the morgue.

My pawns ended up killing him before anything could happen. What I did was wait until evening, picked the body up, took him to where Brant stands in the pub, and then I used a wakestone to res him. Combat started again but Brant quickly arrested him then and there.

Great! I brought him back to life in the morgue and Brant imediately arrested him haha. thanks! dunno why i didnt even think about the morgue...

If you mean Newt Liquor, you can craft them/find them, without needing the mask.
