How does pawn quests rewards work?
I am hesitant to set rewards because I am not sure how they work. When you set a reward of say, 10k gold, is that paid out once or is it per hire? So, if my pawn got hired 10 times, do I have to pay out $100k gold?

Its paid out once. I'm unsure if multiple people can claim it. Be nice if so.

You pay it once when you set the quest. That's it.

You pay the fee to set the quest, and any number of people can pick up your pawn between setting the quest and resting. You only get charged once. However if you rest you'll need to set the quest again for the 10k fee.

You lose the item or items you put as reward, but you only give them once. I's still unclear whether multiple people can get rewards, but it won't remove them more than once

I tend to set up Badge Quest for players to accomplish when they hire my Pawn. I like to offer a 10k Gold Reward for completion which. It can be fairly lucrative to complete the Pawn Quests from Pawns you hire from others because it helps you in a way and the person's Pawn learn a thing or two.

Only one person can claim the reward. After it is released, your pawn is returned to you the next time you sleep. You are given an option at that time to set a new quest.

I say this because I have completed pawn quests and not received rewards. Now, this could be a bug (I would not be surprised), but this has been my experience.

You only pay once

Everyone who completes the quest gets the reward, but it only counts once (for example you only get a single hunt token)

So if 10 person complete your 10k reward quest they all get 10k, but you only paid 10k, and your Pawn only gets one quest completion

When you update your Pawn by sleeping at an Inn or your house, the quest is marked as completed and you have to set a new one

On one of my quests, I requested to kill a Chimera for 10000. I saw that 4 people killed Chimeras, but I only lost the first 10k. I think all people did each get rewarded, but I can only speculate

They did, you only paid the charge of setting the quest. The community can effectively print one another money if we work together, big W for the Pawn system

I think on my example with the Chimera, I effectively got 4 defeats added to my badge completion

Is that right? Your pawn quest becomes inactive after each rest?

It would make more sense to me that the quest becomes inactive after the first time it's completed, but so far no confirmation on that

They can. There is a money making thing where you set a pawn to 10k reward for a quest, and let as many people as possible use / get it before you rest. You pay 10k once, a bunch of players get 10k.

It has to be completed. Same quest stays on until it's done or you change it, even if it takes multiple summons/rest periods before someone does it.

If you rest and the quest still isn't done, it won't get reset and still stays there waiting.

One time only. Just set it and forget it. If you want to do it again you have to reset it.
