Thief is its own level
Fighter probably is just consistent
But it doesnt have to do insane damage to kill things. It kills things.
I'm playing thief and melt things but I die if i'm not careful.
Fighter can get in things faces. Its badass, if you like fighter just enjoy it. Maybe dip other classes for their augments.
Of course you will get out damaged by a vocation that focuses purely on offense like Thieves & Sorcerer's.
Dire/Deathly Arrow is one-shot killing a lot of mobs before combat, if it doesn't kill them it does a big chunk of damage and sends small to mid targets like the Saurians flying. Wait for your bow to flash before firing to get the maximum damage.
Whirling/Spiral Arrow has some interesting uses, it hits multiple targets multiple times depending on how far away they are from you, the further the weaker it is. Against a flock of Harpies flying towards you, it knocks them all out of the sky and stuns them on the ground. Against big targets like Cyclops it hits them multiple times taking big chunks out of their healthbars, it requires little aiming as it hits a wide berth.
