Vocation Frustration Quest bug
I gathered the items required to complete the quest, turned the first one in. but for some reason it isnt seeing that i have the second item which happens to be the vocation i want to go down. Anyone else had this issue any ways to fix it.

If you have the weapon in the inventory of a pawn it won't appear in the turn-in menu for some reason, at least that's what I personally experienced when doing the exact same quest.

looking through the inventory of everyone and i cant see the greatsword anywhere but the quest line is to return them both to the guildmaster. so the game knows i have picked it up

Have you looked in your storage? if it isn't there.. then the next question is did you discard anything prior to returning to the city? Everything you discard drops in a bag, but could have happened. And lastly in the worst case scenario have someone gift you a greatsword as at current I don't know of any merchants that sell a greatsword prior to completing that quest.

There is a bug. I returned to town to hand in the quest and the archstaff was gone. Check storage checked and everybody’s inventory, no Archstaff. Apparently you can buy the staff and sword quick Google should give the name of the location to travel to and blacksmith

Had this issue. Had the sword in inventory and staff in my storage. Retrieved the staff and turned it in and the sword was missing. Looked for a while and the sword somehow ended up in my storage when it wasn't there originally. May not help your situation but that's what happened with me.

Oh you are a godsend. I was about to be so mad, maybe the dumbest quest interaction so far. They just repeated dialog so i thought the NPC's were saying to go back and do it again. I was gonna lose my mind. Luckily you were right, it left my pawns inventory and was stored for whatever reason.

If you're desperate to fix this and have some coin, go request for an Ox Cart. There's a billboard where it lets you wait until morning to hitch a ride to a place called the Rest Town. There, you can buy the staff or great sword, whichever you're missing and hand those in instead.

The Greatswords and Archistaves are sold in Checkpoint Rest Town. You can take an ox cart there from West Vernworth.

I handed in the greatsword, opened up the hand in for staff - realized I didn't have the staff on me - it was in storage - closed out the handin window, went to retrieve staff - came back and now the guild npc has amnesia. I can't hand in the greatstaff any more, he forgot about that quest and the vocation remains locked.

I had this issue but it somehow resolved itself. What happened was that I ended up saving the game and logging out after doing other quests instead...and the next time or so I logged in, it was in my Storage. So I pulled it out of storage and was able to complete the quest.

Just find any weapons of the referred class a Warrior and sorcerer ( both can be found in Checkpoint Rest Town to the west) and deliver to klaus.

What's with all the old threads from May being responded to now?

I'm not against thread necro myself - especially when there's new info... but all these threads being pushed up seem to just be odd.
