Chances of hacked pawns day 1?
Are there any anti-cheat measures in place or will we see maxed out pawns available day 1?

Edit: ITT, people who jump the gun and think I am advocating for anti-cheats in a single player game just because I asked if there were going to be hacked pawns, LMAO. People got unresolved issues putting words in others mouths.

Yes, you can be ban in this game.

Whenever you sleep in game, your pawn's datas are uploaded to the server.
The server check those datas, to see if they are legits first, and then compare them to the datas it already has about your pawn. If it detect something suspicious during that comparison, your pawn get soft banned or perma ban.

your pawn get soft banned for 24 hours.

Though soft bans dont stack. If you keep your pawn with hacked stats for longer than the soft ban duration, it will stay soft banned for as long as his stats arent legit, but the very second you'll fix his stats and reupload it, the ban will be lifted immediately.

In the other hand if you fix your pawn before the soft ban end, you will still have to wait for the soft ban to end before you can get your pawn hired again.

And of course if the soft ban is the consequence of a restart, there will be nothing to fix, it will just require to wait for the soft ban to end.

That mean that starting a new save [multi save] is the kind of thing that will get you the 24H soft ban treatement too.

I just don't understand this mentality. You wait years for a game to come out and then you want to cheat immediately. it's ridiculous

Asking if there are going to hacked pawns =/= cheating immediately.

as long as the "hacked" pawn isn't online for others, I don't really care what people do to hack their game. the game isn't online per say. only the pawn sharing system is, so who cares?

ffs these replies ain't it LOL.
Where did homie word it like that? He literally said two things:
1) Asked if there will be anti-cheats.
2) Stated a specific example of a hack (that being max level pawns on day 1).

Neither of these are "I hope this game has anti-cheats" or anything of the like lol.
You are either projecting your own interpretation, or you are indeed lacking in reading comprehension skills.....

if you have an hacked pawn you will receive a soft ban and unable to upload it online like in dragon's dogma 1, and even if you pass through and you upload your hacked pawn, you will also receive a soft ban or perma ban like in dragon's dogma 1 and your pawn will be reset/delete/remove or something like that.

I think the question should have been. Can you hack your pawns?

Maybe, but I feels that gives the implication that I will be hacking my pawns if possible, which I have no intention of doing so currently.

Who cares.
It's a singleplayer game and nobody's forcing you to cheat or not cheat.
If someone wants to ruin or improve their experience, it's no skin off my back.

I wonder how that works with save game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i.e. if I manually backup and later replace the save file and then my pawn is back to a lower level than it was on the server. Of course, the obvious answer is as a humble hat merchant says: Just don't; but I'm still curious

The ban isn't there to hinder you, it's there to protect other people. Hacking your pawn doesn't do anything to your game, you'll just play like you always do.
But your pawn won't be hired by other players, because allowing someone to download a hacked pawn from an unkown source is a problem.
Imagine you find a way to hide some malicious code that can be executed by the game to do harm to other people's systems that hired your pawn. You know, like the whole dark souls 1 to 3 hack issue.
That's a pretty big security risk. So it's not just about "cheating in a single player game", because while the game is "single player", the app does have an online feature and you can't overlook that.

You are clearly falling for the trolling. He is arguing both. Just a few posts before yours he cries about someone thinking the OP wants to cheat himself. So he doesn't want to cheat. He doesn't want to stop others from cheating. He just wants to know random stuff because lol... Nice thread.
