What Class will you be playing 1st?
Dragons Dogma 2 is looking great in terms of combat when compared to DDDA and with tons of classes being added to the new game, I want to know what people are going for!

Cheers and have a good one!

I have a Mage with a Fighter Pawn already set to go thanks to the character Creator.

Thief with Fighter pawn.

Probably Fighter the entire first playthrough.

The Mystic Spearhand or w/e looks fun

Fighter to start since I remember that was a good all-around start for Dragon's Dogma 1.

I'm starting my Pawn as a Mage(healer) so I can control that inclination, if like the first game. Then I'll probably pick up some other player's Archer or Thief, and Sorceror pawn.

I'm kind of disappointed there isn't a "Strider" class(combo of Archer/Thief kind of) like in the first game. I remember my little pawn was awesome fun to "launch" with my Fighter's shield when I started that game, but still could also do bow stuff making it a really versatile class.

If like the first game, you do Fighter or whatever until you reach the level for the max benefit from it that you can then also use when playing another class. So if like the first game that makes you want to level up several classes to that max benefit point. So in that game maxing whatever the peak skill was from Sorceror also benefited the character when it was a Mage, while it would also have the buffness still from maxing the stuff from Fighter/Warrior etc.

Same here, but holy do I hope they fixed the issues with casters from DD1... long cast times then frozen unmovable after cast delay+all the other classes overtake the Sorc in power where they can kill whatever you are casting a spell for faster then your spells can.
Using main staff attack holy bolt to make it viable was stupid, and holy bolt was only viable due to a bug that massively increased its damage.

Technically you'll be playing as one of the four base classes first until you can find the sorcerer maister and complete her quest/trials. :steamhappy:

My plan is to start fighter, then sorcerer, and then mystic spearhand. But you know the old saying, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.
