deluxe edition! Is it worth buying the deluxe edition? and will it be possible to upgrade from the standard edition to the deluxe edition?

I dont know about upgrades.. but I know for me it definitely seems worth the Deluxe edition, but Ive been waiting for this game for 10 years... so I am a bit biased.

I bought it because I wanted the ring and camping stuff, but if you don't care about that I'd say go for the standard.

buy deluxe, wait until release, look at some reviews or try out for 2 hours, then decide whether to refund or keep.

pretty sure you should be able to get the stuff in the Deluxe version later on in the game except for the Original Soundtrack

I bout the deluxe edition since the 1500 rift crystals give you a decent pawn boost early which can make it possible to kill large enemies early- assuming the rift crystals are worth the same amount as the first game. I bought it on green man gaming for $68 so it was worth it for me.

In terms of upgrading later I don't think it would be worth it since it looks like all the items are more of an early game boost.

just get the standard. some of the included items in the digital deluxe are available in game anyway. pretty sure the extra items will be released as dlc too.
