I agree. They're not furry, but that's what's so odd. Furries are very good to exploit for maximum shekels if you're willing to sell your soul, but they opted not to do that. Makes me wonder who wants to play as one of these cat things since they look so ugly.

Furry is the name of a group that revolves around anthropomorphic animals, Which have existed long before the furry fandom.

So Beastren can be something a furry fandom can like, but in and of itself isn't "furry".

I only consider it furry content if it features mutants to have romantic relationships between humans and mutants. If it's a race that only interacts politically with humans then it's cool to have a variety of races, after all it's a parallel world, another reality.

Something does not have to be sexualized to be 'furry.

It has a distinctly non-human face, and clear animal characteristics. It might not be hardcore furry, but its still furry.

Also people will rule34 it for sure, and it will definitely be classified as furry when that does happen.
