BackSwamp Demo Survival Begins!

Hello everyone!

We're a team of just two people developing BackSwamp, and we're coming to Steam Next Fest!

Our game will be playable in two different environments.
At high tide, you can only be active on a raft. And at low tide, go down to the swamp on a rope ladder! The new environment will give you a different experience.
(You can see the time of high tide and low tide through the UI indicator in the bottom right corner).

Our game is all about crafting. Collect resources to make your raft life a little better.
Oh no!!!
Don't forget to eat food and drink water!

Our game doesn't have a tutorial yet.
So before Next Fest, we're going to make a game guide available to the Steam community.

The demo version has been activated early to do QA, so updates may be frequent as a result. We're working on fixing the bugs!

In the demo version, if you open the menu with the [ESC] key, there is a menu where you can send bug reports or feedback. Please feel free to use it. Your feedback is very important to us.

couple of thoughts.

not entirely clear how fishing works. hold lmb until it gets to the "sweet spot" and keep it there? does the sweet spot move on its own or did i do something to move it? don't understand the cup that collects water.. why does collecting the water make you pick up the cup? i mean, perhaps there should be a water bottle or something on you (that you need to craft) that holds extra water, so the cups can stay "installed" and collect more water rather than sit in your inventory until you place it again....

Something is wrong

Hello i tried playing your game, but upon starting it i only get a black screen, i'm playing on high end pc so I'm sure it's not a hardware problem. I'm using a 55 inch 4k Tv as a screen, so maybe this could be causing an issue? I really wanted to try the game, sadly for now this issue stops me from it....
