ROCKSMITH 2011 IS THE BEST!! 2014 SUCKS.

2014 sucks, there are no events to play at. No venues. No game progression. the songs are terrible. the songs in the original rocksmith are awesome!! I have recently started playing again and i wont go back to 2014 remastered. even the original scale runner is much better.2014 has no amp or custom tones and amps. why was all this stuff removed???

don't fix what ain't broke. rocksmith 2011 was a huge success for a reason. Expand on the orignal game without ruining the whole experience!

I hope rocksmith + is better. for now i'm sticking to the original and i'm having a blast!!

Also VERY disappointing that DLC's are being removed. i just managed to get my hands on off spring before all songs were removed. Whom ever is making these stupid decisions needs to wake up and think again.

I love rocksmith and have bought both games, just very sad about the direction it's going.

Thank you for getting in touch and sharing your feedback on this, I'm sorry you find Rocksmith 2014 to be lacking.

As Post Launch Support for this title has since ended, there are no further updates planned. I'm afraid we also can't say for sure why certain content was removed but will also pass your feedback on.

We have Rocksmith+ coming later this year so hopefully some of the technical aspects that have been missed may make a come back.

And of course if there's anything more you'd like to share, please let us know!

If Rocksmith + isn't coming to steam like the previous games, then it is worthless.

What are you talking about? Custom tones (and amps) weren't removed from 2014. I don't know how you missed it. I use it all the time.

The DLCs are being removed because the licenses are expiring. It's not a "decision", it's a requirement of the contracts. If they continue to sell the DLCs after the license expires then they are open to being sued for copyright infringement (and they would definitely lose any such case).

You can smell the corporate suites perfume, through the screen here. If I wanted another subscription service, then I would have not stopped using Netflix after they started to put out crap, or HBO GO, or any other service, get this through your heads, people just want the game! We don't want another subscription, also there was nothing wrong with the first game except for the audio lagging issues, and notes either being detected when I did not press the correct notes, or not being detected when I actually did press the notes, why 2014?

Bring back Rocksmith, the majority of the fan base, even some of your own people, which I have met in person, they are pirating the game, I don't want to pirate, I want to buy and be a legitimate purchaser of my products, you guys just make things really difficult, which your loosing money over this stupid decisions, just make games, stop trying to innovate on how we get the games, because the only thing that is happening is the innovation of how people are pirating the game, please!!!
