How to explode TNT?

I started playing as a guerilla squad and each soldier has 5 tnt. Am I have to use all tnt charges before getting the detonator? It's very diffucult to use if it's like that. Can't I drop 1 tnt and explode it?

I'm having the same issue, I just love the fact that they have 5 TNT but being forced to waste a lot or dying before I have a chance to blow the single one I needed to destroy a tank is not fun.

Yes in fact you can use only 1! All you need to do is press the same number you pressed to equip the explosives

Yeah so I push 6 to equip my TNT, throw one, then I hit 6 again and it swaps to the detonator

My stats and winrate are probably much better than yours but maybe tell us if you know it genius? Only way to explode them seems like wasting all the tnt you have on target before getting the detonator which kinda makes the guerilla useless.

Just press 6 (by default, or the key that switches to TNT - "Controls/Weapon/Special weapon") again to switch between the detonator and the tnt charge. You don't need to waste all your TNTs.
