they should have stayed at free to play and let old players migrate to Steam without selling some dodgy "packs".

they wanted a handful of players to iron out the issues with steam version, and launched with a limited closed test (buy a pack to get in). nobody could read though and thought the game would be paid on steam so they just pulled it entirely.

Hope they open it up again shortly. I had no problem with paying for it in Early Access if it meant I could finally play on Steam Deck.

For those looking to just play the game on their PC, not Steam deck, you can still just download the game off their website and play for free. Just watch out for what email you use so that you can link the game to Steam when it opens back up here.

It is removed for now. They are also fixing linking between steam and gaijin accounts.

Once they find the solution it will be back here as a paid dlc for early access.

Afterwards it will be f2p for everyone.

Consider that as a payed access to launch game via steam. Still you'll get ingame stuff

You forget the reasons why people want it on steam. The ease of access to it and you can play it on a steam deck. I need it on steam because Im always traveling and I dont want to lug a large laptop just to play it.

They didn't said it will be f2p, I'm disappointed as a long time player of the game and have spend money on it.

Making the game Paid is one of the dumbest move ever, the devs literally shot themselves in the foot, ppl warn them not to do this, they dont listen. got friends wanting to come back and try, saw the price tag and nope the fk out

Not only that, they gave a middle finger to all existing players who played since launch and on the launcher, paying users are now punished, and have to buy the game at 25$ again

so not only it fk up all the new players, it fk all the veteran players as well, its so stupid i cant believe gaijin would do this
