"Clean Hands" and river krusts/oyster thingy.

I am still unsure if killing river krusts will count as a kill and prevent unlocking the "Clean hands" achievement. Some discussion boards says no, some other says yes. So far i've been using sleeping dart buts i'd like to know once and for all.

I received the "Clean Hands" achievement and I believe the only things I killed were rats and river krusts. If you're not convinced you can create a save before you meet some, finish the mission and then double check the stats screen to make sure you have 0 kills. Be careful in using sleep darts bc if anyone you put to sleep is harmed, and dies or drowns (falls into water) then you'll be unable to get the achievement. If you're looking for a challenge try doing "Ghost", "Clean Hands", and "Mostly Flesh and Steel" in one playthrough!

Yes, this is the kind of playthrough i am going for :) And i sure will be careful for what might happen to my non-lethal take-downs. Thank you for your answer! That will help me a lot.

You can kill rats and river crusts. Interestingly, I also was able to use a sleep dart on Slackjaw in the Granny/Slackjaw mission and it still gave me the achievement. I talked to Granny and agreed to help, then sleep darted Slackjaw. Then she gives you the key, so I unlocked him and carried his body out the door I came in. Granny got mad when I left, but it didn't count as a kill or an alert.
