HowTo: Play Dishonored with seperate Voice/Text language

If you want to keep the original, english voice acting but want to have the journal entrys/subtitles etc. in a different language, do the following:
#1: go to your Dishonored/DishonoredGame/Localized folder
#2: make a backup/delete the INT folder
#3: Rename the folder with the language you want to use to INT
#4: Use a tool like Total Commander to rename all the extensions from the files inside of the new INT folder from their original ending to int
#5: Do the same for the files in Engine/localization (for the subtitles)
#6: There you go, english voice with your native text language

#5 you mean only subtitles.int, or all 12 files?
I have done everythink, I have game in my language, but I have english subtitles. What should I do?

i probably have to dissapoint you. If i remeber correctly i tried it afterwards and it didn't work for me too. never looked into it afterwards, played it in english w/english text

Hi want to play this game in german(or any other language in the future)with english subtitles but I am stuck. How do I rename the extension? I never use this program before. Can I do this for all the languages besides english?

Sorry for posting in an old topic, but this solution doesn't work. I still have ingame subs in english, instead of italian.

Yeah, doesn't work. Even replacing the bk_files which are also localized files doesn't work properly. it works fine during the intro then the characters doesn't have voice anymore. If you want to play with english voices on PC, you'll have to play with english subtitles.
