Overseer Campbell quest bug?
As soon as I enter the room to poison the glass, the other door opens automatically (with nobody around it), Campbell and his guards yell "I'll find you!" and then run out of the room right past me. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem yet?

I'm having this exact same bug on my playthrough right now. It's extremely frustrating.

It's a timing thing. I had something of that encounter, as soon as I got to the room Campbell had already poisoned Castilla's uncle. I basically had to destroy my left click mouse button using blink to get to the room in time, then hurry and blink outside the window and hide on the window-sill.

Same problem here...

I had this happen the first time I entered the room. Right when the bell rang, they opened the door and i had aggrod them. I reloaded and it worked fine. I even reloaded it a few times to experiment with the objective. The bug only happened the first time.

It's happened to me every time. I basically had to settle for just killing Overseer Cambell instead of something more stealthy. It was pretty disappointing seeing as I was trying to play as a stealth character.
wait for the bells to ring BEFORE you drop down into the room to touch the glasses. Stay on your perch. Trust me you will have time.

If it bugged like that only way I could see around it would be slowing time since you probably wont have enough runes for stop time..... Although you could also try different ways of entering the room to see if it still triggers the auto-door open. Personally I havent come across this in 2 play throughs though.

Slow time doesn't change anything. Even if you do get around to poisoning the drinks (which I did through a combonation of Blink and fast movements) the door opens anyway and they go running down the hall past you ignoring the drinks. It also doesn't matter how you enter the room. I have entered it through every door and all the windows and the door still auto opens.

This is DEFINITELY a bug. Once the door opens the overseer and his guards become alerted, but not to my presence. I can stand right in front of them and they just run right past me. They don't actually even notice me until after they have run all the way out of the house and down the road. Eventually, if I follow long enough they will turn around and start fighting, but not usually until they reach a couple hundred feet from the manor.

I'm wondering if I triggered something by mistake earlier in the mission because it seems like the Overseer and his crew have a particular place they are heading to.

I'm currently on a high chaos, kill everyone/loot everything run and I cleared everything else before entering the room. Needless to say I'm suffering from the very same bug.

Hopefully they release a patch for this soon. I did a search around the web and I found a bunch of people complaining about this. Nobody seems to have found a workaround yet. At least you are playing a high chaos game so this bug doesn't effect you too much. I was trying to play stealth and poison the drinks, but instead had to resort to sleep darting everyone.

Yeah, this is a bug. Happened to me as well. I even tried going in through the window and then blinking immediately back out. Something is triggering the NPCs. I wound up chasing the Overseer through the halls to finally jump on him and wedge the blade into his neck. Exciting, sure, but not how I wanted to play it at all. ;-)

Having this issue too, first play through, played it stealthy so far. I have a save before triggering thier conversation but they speak one line then start running around crazy regardless of where I hide or how I enter the room.
When you on the Holger Square (afrer you free Martin) DON'T open the cage-door and this glitch won't appear.
