Hey, figured I would try to complete the game without beeing seen or detected, just completed part 2 (the one after the prologue), no1 spotted me and didn't kill anybody. The 0 killcount am I ofc 100% sure of.

Thanks!

What's BS about that? You did something that caused them to die. If someone knocked out your dog, then left him dangling from a ledge over a river, you'd hold that person responsible when your dog fell in and drowned.

I tend to stash as many bodies as I can in near by dumpsters. It's interesting that they are all so conveniently placed throughout the maps, lol... There's always really good places to store bodies. The game developers did a good job of that. And if you can't really find a good place, just blink up to a roof and stick them up there. But make sure they aren't going to start shaking and making that weird squishy bloody guts sound and then inch their way off the roof. I've had it happen.. End of the mission "One hostile killed" "DAMNIT!".... The weirdest one was during Return to the Tower. I just blinked up onto the killer rotating tower deal and popped the whale oil tank out, then blinked down and took care of the guards by the shack under it. Well, I blinked up to the tower of death to stash them up there so the tall boys wouldn't spot them and the rats wouldn't get them, and I got one up there, and went back down for the other. And as I get up there with the other one, here I look at the one that's already up there, and it's sloooowwwly inching it's way toward the freaking edge of the platform, lol.. I placed the one I was carrying down and scooped up the other ♥♥♥♥♥♥ JUST in the nick of time, just before he fell and wouldn't had to make me hit F9. So just be careful where you put them. Out of sight isn't SO necessary if you're completely clearing an area and there won't be patrols to spot them too early on in the session and ring and alarm or something. But if you're just ridding a few necessaries, then stash em good. For example, inside Dunwall Tower, I like to place bodies up on the chandeliers of the main hallways. It's funny to look down the hallways and see shadows of spread out bodies cast down onto the floor below, lol.. But make sure that you only hit "F" to drop them, don't click and throw them, and try to back yourself up as close to the edge of the chandelier as possible. Also, if you are placing one of the Wolfhounds up there when you take out the Overseers that patrol the halls there, well, it's best to avoid the chandeliers with the dogs if you are going for no kills, because for some reason Corvo tends to freaking LAUNCH dogs, even when simply dropping then down with "F". And then will just plop down, and do a back flip off of the edge of the chandelier..

I think Dishonored would be freaking amazing if Arkane would have worked with the detection/alert mechanics a little bit more. For example, if a guard or overseer was walking along, and they saw those shadows cast on the floor from a body on the chandelier, they would alert to 1 lightning bolt. Also, if they would take notice more of security systems being down. I know in the Tower mission, if someone finds one down, a guard will walk around with whale oil and such, but I don't think they alert, or at least I've never seen them do it. Again, if they would get a 1 lightning bolt alert level that would be pretty cool. I know some people were saying in a forum, where they were talking about the game (though most of the posters were displaying dislike for the game, comparing it to Thief and such, saying that Dishonored is only a stealth game because of stupid AI), that Arkane could have employed a slightly better stealth system, where if guards noticed doors opened that weren't opened, that they would alert and start to search a little, and other things like that. I mean, I like the game as it is, but if anyone says that things simply can't be improved then they'd be lying. Nothing bad about the game though. What were we talking about again? How did I get here? Oh, chandeliers....

very good points, i think in general thats whats wrong with stealth games, it doesnt feel stealthy most of the time. id give Skyrim stealth system as an example (i know its not a stealth game im just citing the stealth mechanics). Shoot someone in the face with an arrow they look for you for a bit and if they cant find you "it must have just been the wind"my imagination", really? you got a damn arrow sticking out of your face. AC has been like this as well, youd think one important person/bunch of guards being killed would alert the whole city indefinitely, i cant wait for a stealth game that oermanently puts enemies on alert the whole mission if they found a corpse of one of their bodies.

I've had that happen when trying to rescue captain curnow. He ended up dying

Well, if you knock the Captain out, to bring him to a safe location, you'll see that there's an objective marker for a location for you to stash him, it'll literally be called "Safe Location". It's a dumpster just outside of the Office of the Overseer gates there on the side opposite from where you enter when first entering the place. Really though, I believe you can put him anywhere, so long as it's safe. I did the first time I did the play through and it was fine..

But if you want to avoid having to deal with him all together, simply head into the meeting room, and hit "F" on the glasses. This will give you a few options, along with the option to "Spill Both Glasses". When you do this, once the Captain and Campbell enter the room, Campbell will see the glasses have been spilled, and he will say something along the lines of "Captain this is hardly the hospitality I intended to show you..." and then he'll mutter "I guess I'll have to do this the hard way.." He'll then invite the Captain to come with him down to his secret room (there's a rune there also). They'll walk down there together, and you can literally follow right behind them for most of the way (watching out for other overseers of course), as they never turn around unless you do something to make them turn around. They'll then walk into the room, and Campbell will ask the Captain to look at a Sokolov, and then try to pull out his sword and slice up the Captain. Before he does, simply walk up behind Campbell and choke him out, and hold F to throw him over your shoulder. Don't worry about knocking Captain Curnow out at this point, even if he sees you, he will not alert on you. He will simply say "You have my thanks. By all rights I should arrest you, but this once I think you can go your way and I'll go mine. By the way, you look awfully familiar, even with that mask on...." Then the Captain will walk back upstairs, at which point one of his men will join him, and they will run out of there together with their swords drawn. They run and make their way to the entrance at Holger Square, and once they get there, you'll see the objective upgate pop up stating that Curnow was rescued (just after he gets about 166 meters away, you'll see it on the blip highlighting him as he runs away). Then all you need to do is get Campbell back upstairs and stick his ass with a hot iron. This can be pretty simple, just blink around to avoid being detected by overseers in the stairwell area.

I've done it both ways, but personally, I think this way is a lot easier, especially considering that you'll want to head down to Campbell's secret room for the loot, the Sokolov, and the rune... Plus you get a bit of information on where Emily is.
I've had that happen when trying to rescue captain curnow. He ended up dying
