Enough Coin to Disappear
Has anybody manage to get this achievement?

What does it take? No expenses and complete loot collection throughout KOD and TBM? Does it affect the ending in some way?

Gonna attempt to do this during my third run, it'd be nice to be treated to a scene of Daud kickin' back on a Serkonan beach.

There are 12927 Coin to be found across both DLC's, so you probably want to find everything and not spend a single coin, just to be sure. Below is a list of which missions give how much coin, as quick reference(mostly for myself, but maybe you guys find it useful too)

This Achievement is probably going to stay rarer than the City Trial ones, I can't imagine a lot of people will bother with replaying KoD, so they can replay TBW and then get a single Achievement for it.

Knife of Dunwall A Captain of Industry - 2053 Coin Eminent Domain - 3169 Coin The Surge - 0 Coin The Brigmore Witches Choosing your Mark - 500 Coin A Stay of Execution for Lizzy - 1655 Coin The Dead Eels - 3520 Coin Delilah's Masterwork - 2030 Coin Total: 12927 Coin

Pretty sure this is accurate, not sure enough to bet my life on it though, take it as a very close estimate and be sure to aim for more than just exactly 10000 Coin.

Edit: Actually, you start out with 2000 Coin in KoD, so you can get almost15000 Coin total, assuming everything carries over.

Ended KoD with 3.7k coins (only bought rune drop favors, sleep darts and the combat sleep dart upgrade)

Rest of the money in Brigmore witches, buying only 3 sleep darts and the butler favor in the final mission. Ended the game with 10.3k coins.

So basically there is no point in doing this, unless you do it for the achievement alone...
Dirk1986 Aug 15, 2013 @ 11:16am
Apparently if you don't import a KoD save, you get 3000 coins at the start.
so 3000 + 7705 coins from all missions in TBW = 10705 coins total in a non save import run.

Meaning you are only allowed to miss 705 coins on a non-save imported low chaos run.

btw milk man, the whale does not count towards high chaos,

and dirk, so 705 coins only to miss? and you cant do this on high chaos why? just curious since coins shouldnt differ in high vs low choas, minus extra for actual high choas or kill quests vs non kill.

Because the achievement requires you to do it in low chaos :)

yea it was well a joke , rhetoric,
WHY not high chaos! WHYY!!! as i just did it 2 times on low chaos lol, both dlc, lol hence my agony

oh why gods of dishonoreddd whyy not high chaosss lol

etc

guess the mini pun or dry humor passes over most heads lol

I know its only low chaos, I can read the achievement, just I DONT WANNA do it again paaa ... shakes magic 8 ball, ASK Again at a later time ! gaahh!

oh i do have a real question, how many can you kill not just subdue, and keep it low or as they call it, middle honor still netting u the low and coins but , allowing a kill here and there?
how many alerts before high chaos etc.

maybe ill just redo it all on the easiest lvl for both dlc just to run around and get the coinage, :P

been on extreme everytime and I noticed some mobs will see u across a street or canal, but when u are right near em they are blind.. shrug must be farsighted as i see no shadows im hiding in lol

wink
anyone know about the first 2 questions, how much until its not low chaos anymore?
and are there favors u have to buy to help the quest along or is this skipping every favor
and upgrade

Yeah, it does bump you over to High Chaos. I learned that the hard way. I killed two overseers that were trying to interrogate Lurk, was never seen, so I thought even if it DID raise my chaos it was going to be like poisoning the Bottle Street elixer still (raising chaos, but not high enough to kill an otherwise Low Chaos run).

I was told by a bethesda modder that the whale killing doesnt count towards chaos at all, not one bit, kill 1000 it wouldnt raise u to high

something about putting it out of its misery

and poisoning bottle doesnt raise it either, not one bit, not even a little but does effect lots of other things that can cause high chaos later like more weeps etc

im just wondering how many i CAN kill before it goes to high chaos lol
and im assuming i cant kill any boss targets either or that just high chaos automatic even tho most need to die lol

Sadly, I haven't bought/beaten the Brigmore WItches yet, so I don't know which targets are which. However, I can voutch that the KoD had pretty creative ways of eliminating targets. Anyways, I'd say a good borderline for low chaos is killing >30 people

I've been playing around w/ new games b/c I don't really feel like replaying KoD and I've run into 2 issues w/ this achievement and the 3000 coin you mentioned.

1. When importing my KoD save, I'm starting w/ 0 coin. I actually have a coin icon in my inventory and it says "0 coin." There's obviously something going on here as when I load this save file in KoD, I have over 5k coin.

2. If I choose not to import a game and start a new BW game, I still start w/ no coin. However, in this case there is no coin icon in my inventory, I simply have no coin.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
The Nothing Man Aug 16, 2013 @ 10:06pm
if you spent all coin, and import you should have 2k
i never tried not importing,

but without import it should net u with 2k to start with favors and such,
not 0

its 2k i think not 3k but id have to restart to check, i had a little over than as i spent most of it before the last one was over just to be sure i had items (they didnt transfer over either)

Wether you import a save or not, you get your coin when opening the chest downstairs containing Dauds equipment. After you open that chest (with save import), you will have your 5k coins (if you didn't spend any in KoD)
