So is Knife of Dunwall worth it? how long is it?

i dont have it but from what i have found it has 3 missions and from what i gather they are the same quality as the main game

hopefuly someone with the dlc will come to this topic and give more info on it but as i said, this is all i have been able to gather

Yep only 3 missions, I'd say it's about 4-5 hours long, just starting mission 3. Just as good as the original.

I finished it on "ghost" with all runes and bone charms after 6 hours and it was great

I've just begun the 3rd mission, definitely first 2 missions are the same quality as the original game - same game play too. I finished original several months ago (and didn't get last dlc) and I'm having so much fun I plan on replaying original to see if my stealth skills have gotten any better (I'm really good at sneaking up on someone only to get discovered the last instant). I've spent time getting every rune and charm and I've gotten about 5 hours out of first 2 missions.

5 hours isn't terrible for a DLC, I suppose. I just think it should be a little bit cheaper than £7.99.

5 hours and 10 dollars is better than a lot of things... especially considering that this dlc is actually enjoyable. (RE5 DLC, I'm looking at you. ...no wait, CAPCOM DLC, I'm looking at you.)

Is there anything after dealing with Thalia and offing the uncle btw? every time I try to load the level after that, "Daud's hideout" I crash to desktop.

yes, it is worth it. also on first mission take sewer entrance.

3 missions isn't that short when you consider the main game was what, 7 missions? 8?

I've played 2 hours so far and am still on mission one. For $10 that's a steal in my opinion, Bioware charge $15 for 3 hour DLC.

and metal gear rising charged 10 bucks for one mission that is 20mins

i think i will have to buy this dlc...just wondering though, without spoilers does low chaos or high chaos effect anything like the main game?
