Any way to Boost FPS

I really love to play this game, but it's so hard to play once i get caught and my FPS is under 20
(No joke) can someone please help?

yeah as per usual no specs listed. almost guaranteed that the op has a pc not even remotely capable of playing modern games. considering Dishonored is not the least bit demanding I sure hope he is not buying other games.

yeah that has horrible gpu that is not even close to meeting requirements for modern games. Dishonored can usually be played with setups well below requirements but even then that gpu is pushing it.

surely you had enough sense to try the game on lower settings?

of course, i've set it to the lowest i can put, i've even tried tweaking it from DishonoredEngine.ini
it only brought me up to 25 or 26 fps

And what type of Desktop or Laptop can hold for this game? Mind telling me so i can see if i can get it?

lowered the resolution too? if so then nothing else you can do. minimum card listed is a 5850 which is probably 7 to 8 times as fast as your gpu.

what do you mean? the requirements are listed on the store page.

i mean what type of computer can have average fps or better, Windows 8, Alienware, etc.
and my resolution is Windowed 1024 x 600

you seem to be confused about many things. Windows 8 is just an operating system. Alienware is just the name of a company that makes computers. again the requirements for games are listed on the store page. you will need to list the exact specs for a pc you are thinking about if you are having trouble figuring out what the required specs mean.

it doesnt take alot of money to build a comp that is better then your laptop, but it does matter what type of budget you have. furthermore you can get more bang for your buck if you build it yourself then to buy from a retailer. since you will probably struggle with buying parts that are compatible you might try this site http://pcpartpicker.com/ if you are going to build a pc. i dont know if you prefer amd or int but if you are on a budget a amd fx-4300 or fx-6300 should be powerful enough for pretty much most games. if you arent looking to play at max settings at 1080 res then you might get by with a 7750 or 7770 which should alow you to play at high settings on alot of games with fps well above 30 most of the time. i really suggest researching the different parts. sorry for the long post :)

Sorry about butting in. But my game suffers from lower frame rates occasionally. At times, i'll be in the middle of a fight fest with no problems and other times, like if I'm just outside in the rain, it'll dip down some. It's still playable but it's annoying. Im looking for some fps tweeking as well since the graphics options seem to be lacking a lot with actual options.

My laptop is:

Intel core i5-3210 @2.50GHz
4GB ram
Windows 7 64x
Geforce GT 650m

It's a bad console port and badly optimized on PC and I hardly believe its an unreal engine game.
