Admiral Havelock's Remorse (low chaos spoilers)
Was I the only one taken in by Admiral Havelock's fake remorse at the end? I thought he was telling the truth when he said he wouldn't fight me, I thought he was genuinely remorseful for his treachery. Then as soon as I got close he whipped his sabre out and took a swing at me. I jumped into the air using agility and then came down on his throat with my blade. He blew his chance of far as I was concerned. May he rot in the void.

Lesson: everyone in the game is some form of scum; so don't feel bad about pileing up the bodies.

I assume you are the only one. Just out of curiousity why would you actually believe someone who betrayed you?

At least Daud was straight up honest with you.

I used a stun dart on his arse from a stealthy position on top of the bookshelves. I knew he couldn't be trusted.

I thought he was a broken man, that's why I fell for his trick.

Exactly! I didn't come this far to have a conversation with him. Nighty night. Unpleasant dreams bad man! :)

I did, in a way, but merely because I was secure in the knowledge that he couldn't harm me anyways. And I didnt sneak up on him because right there, in the end, it felt right for Corvo to be open about his things. To calmly walk to him, look him in the eye and say: "You can live and be tried justly, or you can try to kill me and die right here. I dont care. But frankly, you arent even worth drawing my weapon. Take your choice."

Well said, Tirigon. I like to see I am not the only person who thinks of the things the characters might say, if they did speak.

I thought he was suiciding, you know, death by cop.

Just like in the high chaos ending, he killed himself.

I just walked past him. He never even knew I was there.

First time I putt a sleeping dart in him. Second time I wanted to know what he had to say so I talked; he never attacked me though. I just picked up the key and went to Emily while he was still standing there.

Same here. Sort of... It was weird.
First time I walked up to him, he dropped the key, I picked up it up and he attacked me.
Second time I walked up to him, the key was already placed down, I picked it up, he didn't attack me and kept going with his speech.

I guess the second time was the result of a bug, but I do greatly prefer it over him just suddenly attacking you for no reason whatsoever. If he wants to suicide, there's a perfectly fine balcony right over there, especially since Low Chaos Corvo will likely spare him anyway. If he thinks he can kill Corvo and get away with everything he's done, then not only does this trickery not match up with everything he said(sure, maybe he lied but he talks to himself before Corvo walks up to him, meaning he's lieing to an empty room. And that's weird.), but it also makes him the most ridiculously stupid character in the entire game.
