I crouched along the left (if you go towards the river) outer wall till I reached the corner. There's a
nice, thick bush there. I just waited for the tower to look away and jumped into the river. I believe
it's the safest way out, especially if you want to avoid detection.
'Tis true. Corvo puts the fear of the Outsider into the wretched and corrupt. Unfortunately, he is
also the one who will be penalized for being detected. If you want to see that Ghost box ticked
at the end of every mission, it's best to tread slowly and carefully.
I delete all my saves so nobody can prove otherwise. :D
When I was done I slipped back out the same way I came in, vents, peripheral wall, watergate, with still only the 2-3 guards who were in the regent's bedroom immediate area vaguely on alert for they didn't know what
Wouldn't have thought of jumping in the water from very far away, the piranhas always seem to find their way to nibble on me.
I spent quite some time swimming near the Tower and didn't find a single hagfish, so you don't
have to worry about those annoying creatures. Just make sure you don't hit the rocks.
