Can I Change My Version?

I want to change my version of dishonored to version 1.2 so that i can speedrun the game. Does anyone know a way to change my dishonored back to version 1.2?

Unfortunately I don't know of a way to change the version of the game - the only solution I would know of would be to try to get a v1.2 version via...illegal...means. I'm curious though, what is different with the v1.2 version that makes speedrunning it better?

It contains glitches that have been patched out of the game, the current world record is set by using these glitches such as clipping through walls.

I'm curious what you meant by illegal means? plenty of countries where downloading stuff isnt anything illegal.

As for OP I doubt you can do it on steam, steam always keep games updated afaik.
So just get it from torrent.

torrenting it was basically what I meant. As far as I know it's always illegal to download a game, even if you own the original in some way. But as this is the Internet, I'm sure you all know what you can and can't do *wink*

What I meant is that downloading (for personal use) is legal in some countries even if you dont own it.
btw just thinking that to use word "own" in regard to software doesnt really make sense as you really dont own anything even that you buy it :(
