Ignoring Granny Rags for Clean Hands
I'm doing a Clean Hands/Shadow run and have heard that both completing the Granny rags sidequests AND ignoring her entirely can "glitch" the achievements with an invisible kill added to the record. She gets a lot of blame for ruining the achievement either way.

Any thoughts? Is it safer to do her quests or ignore her?

IIRC , the player only need do the 10 principle missions. YMMV but I had to eventially sneak kill Daud to get my shadow achievement. So I would advise a full save once you get to Daud's outer office. Just in case. :-)

Super minor spoilers:

If you complete the Granny Rags missions, you will have a mini-boss fight (of sorts) later in the game. Knocking the mini-boss unconscious before the fight will count as a kill due to how it's scripted.

To the best of my knowledge, there's no bug with skipping the Granny Rags missions, and this is considered the safer way. You lose out on a few runes, but that's it. It also makes getting Ghost easier because you avoid the mini-boss fight.

I personally got Ghost and Clean Hands while still doing the Granny Rags missions, so it is possible. You simply can't knock out the mini-boss before you're supposed to.

Thank you both. As long as there's no bug when skipping, I think I'll play it safe and avoid her altogether.

If you do her quest you will need to knock out 3 guys clustered together, and optionally posion the street gang. Also you will need to defeat her really fast and rely on lots of mana and tier 2 time stoping
