Why should i (Kill|Knockout|Avoid)
No spoilers!
What happends if i kill everyone
What happends if i knockout everyome
What happends if i do no action on everyone
---
I dont see any reason why i should not just knockout everyone.I think would be the same as if i avoided them but i can stay in some areas without having to risk being caught if i knock the guards whom take that patrol route that i am in.As far as i can tell you can play the game exactly the same killing or not killing.Only difference is what button you push and what the loading screen tip has told me about more rats later in the game if you kill

If you knock out guards there is less chance of them spotting you. Some guards are very predictable (walk back and forth 10 feet), while others patrol a lot of ground. As for killing everyone you can if you want to but there are some situations where having a lot of kills makes the gameplay different. eg: More enemies in missions. There are TONS of moves you can pull off to kill someone in this game. Some people find fun in that, but you can choose to do that the first play through. When you are better familiarized with the map on the second try do an all stealth play through for the achievements Ghost and Clean Hands.

Your actions in game affect the way Emily turns out. You can seek out all kinds of alternate ways to complete objectives, to the point of having significantly different objectives entirely. And these things affect the overall storyline and ending. Killing everyone has a darker ending, wheras striking deals and political maneuvering has a happier ending.

The game is all about choice and options - there are many different endings and ways of completing missions, and your actions create ripples that affect the world around you and future options in-game.

Meh. Killing / Choking / Avoiding have very little different on the game other than the ending. What I've noticed is that high chaos leads to more rats and weepers, which might make your life more difficult.

Whatever effects Corvo might have on Emily is rather subtle. I've only noticed one different recording and a single line at the very end. If you are not too terribly concerned with achievements then you should just play the game as you see fit: stay stealthy until the situation calls for action.

And yeah, there are a lot of ways to kill in this game so might as well enjoy them a bit.

I'm in my first playthrough , and I DON'T KNOW why, but chose to be totally peacefull...
it's damn hard, and sometimes you feel that damn urge to use all your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons finally!! :D
I'm knocking out each and every one, it doesn't change your moral, so, no rats or all that stuff taht comes when you kill a lot..

just sayin!

Yes, leaving corpses all over the city creates rats and weepers youll have to deal with. But you can even build your character /for/ that if you want, and you can eat the rats and get mana from the weepers and all sorts of things.

This game is very playable not matter what but being stealthy can be difficult in different locations in the map. I haven't played this game in awhile but I am itching to try it again and try to get all the achievements. I think you should play this game in all the scenerios just to see what happens.

There are 3 endings, but a few possible variations on them based on other choices. Also every assassination has an alternate way to complete it without killing the target, and most of the time choosing a different route / playstyle will mean that you stumble upon different side quests.

this game is about "Chaos" if you kill alot and do jerk stuff then you will see more hostilities, threats and darkness in the plot. More thugs, more plague and plague accessories, and more scripted deaths. K.O.ing is fine
