Does killing Weepers increase Chaos?
Question in title. I noticed they appear to be counted in my casualities at the end of each stage, and as I am trying to go for as low chaos as possible I am kinda worried about that. Should I just use Blink or Stop Time every time I have to go through them?

probably just killing them wont be enough to get you to high chaos. but theyre quite easy to skip most of the time anyways

As weepers are human, they count towards chaos (rats, fish, and river krusts do not). If you're just trying for low chaos, killing them will not be enough to push you into high chaos, though, as long as you are nonlethal elsewhere. From what I've read, the threshold for high chaos is 20% of humans killed.

Weepers count as kills, so yes, they count towards increasing your chaos, but since there aren't too many of them in an otherwise low chaos run, you probably wont alter your overall chaos level.
Ah, I see. Then the amount shouldn't be significant enough, I've only killed 4 or 5 so far. Thanks.

The more reliable guides like Wiki or IGN offer a conservative estimate of 20% but, by my accounts, you can kill up to 30% of the total humans in any given mission, and still have low chaos. For smaller missions like M1: Dishonored and M8: Loyalists, you can kill up to 50% and still maintain low chaos.

But, it depends on your accumulated chaos score*. By mission 7, if you've killed enough hostiles to put you on the verge of high chaos, then killing 50% of the enemy in mission 8: Loyalists, will likely put you over the limit and give you high chaos. On the other hand, if you've not killed anyone by the time you get to mission 8, you could kill all 19 hostiles and still have a low chaos rating.

* The game calculates Chaos progressively and there is no way to know what your overall Chaos rating is until you see the end-of-mission stats. Your accumulated rating is determined mostly by number of kills but, other factors enter into the equation, albeit to a lessor degree, like times detected, alarms rung and bodies found. There's also a positive affect on Chaos if you save someone like the woman with the elixer and the overseer's sister in mission 3.

I try not to kill anyone but i leave always marks in my paths and they spot me somehow. Does getting spottet count somehow in getting high chaos?

what do you mean with marks?

and no alerting enemies does not give you chaos. they could have given it a better name maybe, but chaos only refers to amount of kills you made (or that happened because of you)

i walk my path and then suddenly a guard says "someone is sneaking around". Without any guardian interaction. So i guess i left a door or something open.

Well, i just got Chaos High without doing a single kill. Knocked a total of 3 Guards out and threw them into corners. That´s all.

Or, if you're walking upright, they may have heard you. Noise you make can raise suspicions and bring attention in your direction.

Which mission did you do that in? I gotta try that. Sounds like fun.

Ok, about the first one. They say this ♥♥♥♥ randomly. I went completely silent. No one had ever seen me and as i sneak past a guard he talks something like "you can´t get past here ..."

Secondly, the mission before Pendelton. Maybe i killed some weeper tho :D

Well, if you move around absolutely silent and stealthfully so no one sees you and, you're still being caught, then it only stands to reason, you must have a bad game. What else could it be?

If you leave bodies on the ground, rats will eat them most of the time and this counts to High Chaos, also, they can drown and die from falling too. About them noticing you, guards say that if they find someone unconscious or if they hear some noise, but nothing about doors, at least from personal experience, because I tested many things, like leaving objects around, broken stuff too, opened doors and they never reacted.
