It's too convenient for them to use UE3 again though. And the vast majority of potential buyers doesn't care about what engine they use, so they don't really have a compelling reason to start over with a better one.
Dishonored looked dated on it's release too, if they go for the same/similar aesthetic again, they can make a sequel look A LOT better than the first, while still using UE3 as it's base.
And 2016-2017 sounds like a bit of a Stretch, if the game is actually being announced at E3, then I expect a release in 2015.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see UE3 die as much as the next guy, I'm just saying that it makes more sense for Arkane to keep using it a bit longer. At least if the Sequel is supposed to be like the Original in terms of looks/gameplay.
I guess it's not completely impossible that they throw a collectible Cardgame or a Rat Simulator at us.. :P
