Will there be a Dishonored online?
Well Zenimax and Bethesda are the creator of dishonored and they are making an elder scroll online game but will they make a Dishonored online?

I doubt it.

How would that work?
it seems impossible.

Since it's announcement until now, the Elder Scrolls online looked quite disappointing, and the Elder Scrolls series is pretty much the perfect ground set for an MMO.
Dishonored as an MMO, or even just a Multiplayer that supports more than 4 People, seems like an impossibility. The game needs it's tight controls and cleverly designed world, MMO's aren't at the point yet where they can provide that.
And even then, Dishonored tells it's story in a specific way that just wouldn't work with other people around, a Dishonored MMO wouldn't be anything like Dishonored was.

I hope not. So many games with great stories just bomb when they go online. It's making games like Dishonored horribly rare.

It could work if you were one of the Lord Regents waiting for an assassin (played by the AI) to kill you. The whole objective of the game is to stand there and get stabbed in the neck. That being said; this game would bomb if it were online. It should remain singleplayer but they should make it more open world than it already is. I kind of disliked knowing that I was going through a linear level designed by another human being. I want freedom.
I only would like a multiplayer coop game, maybe one plays as Corvo, other is Daud, idk, but the story would have to be completly different! Dishonored would be awesome if it had coop! I hope for a sequel!:claugh:

First of all, Arkane Studios made Dishonored, not Bethsoft or Zenimax (who are the ones who published it). Secondly, how would Dishonored in an mmo setting even work?

I don't understand why everyone thinks everything needs multiplayer. I mean, it can be fun, but singleplayer experiences are still just as valid. I'd personally prefer not to see it, especially not in an MMO setting.

I could MAYBE see a co-op mode, but I however could not see Dishonored as an MMO.

The movements system and collision engine could be a GREAT base for a competitive MP. But alot of people are too blind/noobish to notice the potential.

Co-op would be beast! 2 Whalers going after a single target or something would be so fun!! I dont know if you would be able to use some of the powers (Bend Time) as I dont know how it would affect the other player.
