Dishonored
getting high chaos rating with almost no kills
so i just finished "The golden cat" quest, am trying for the good ending, so am just knocking people out, I dont throw their bodies anywhere that would kill them either.
some reason I got a high chaos rating? why?
i only killed 5 and am sure 2 of them where cause of the quest.

I did accidently kill one non-leathal person.
but damn, really......

is it too late to get the good ending?

How did you do earlier in the game? The chaos rating is averaged over your whole game. If you killed a lot early on, it would take you a while of low chaos playing to make up for the early killing.

oh i did not know that, thats a really crappy system they don't even warn you untill after the 2nd mission? the first two i killed a lot...you think there is enough missions to give me time to take it to low?

Yeah I think you should be fine. But you're still early on, so you could always restart if you wanted/needed. Take a different path - it'll be just as fun as the first time. Unless you didn't think it was fun the first time. Then, nevermind.

Make only a good choices for getting Low chaos... Save prisoners, don't work for Slackshow nor crazy Granny, kill nobody, even doggs and sweepers !

I really think you'll be fine from where you are. Just play stealthily if you want low chaos. You'll get there soon enough.

Hide bodies in bins, or on top of high places... Otherwise rats eat them.
Praxius Aug 10, 2015 @ 6:26pm
And if the rats eat them, they count as you killing them because you didn't tuck them into bed properly

wait.....rats automaticly eat them? regardless if i see it or not? its just assumed everytime? ...srsly f this game if thats the case.

If they're placed in a location where rats can reach them, rats will likely eat them. This can even occur when you're in another area, say, if you leave a body by the docks at the beginning of the brothel mission, it could still be killed at any time even when you go to the next area where the brothel is.

A good place to put unconscious bodies is on top of a table, in a trash bin, or behind a closed door.

they really need to explaine this stuff ...that's way too random to assume. I figure it would only happy if A you see or B you leave them near by. ....really wish this game had a better way of explaining things

The good news about rats is if you get down to low chaos, very few rats will spawn, which makes it easier to keep low chaos.

Some people are just so confusing. You can do every quest in the game as long as you do not kill anyone. It's fine to poison the distillery it will not brake any achievement

And only the rat swarms will kill a body so unless you somehow put a sleeping body close to the few areas with rat swarms you should be fine.

This is true to a point, but misleading. Rat swarms can appear anywhere at any time, even without your presence in the area. Just because you don't see any rat swarms around doesn't mean it's safe to just leave the guy lying on the floor.
