You are kinda reading my mind, at this very second I was just about to post this question until i saw yours.

*eyes u with mild suspicion*

I was literally JUST about to buy the GOTY edition as it's on sale right now, and then I read that there is a Remaster coming out for consoles in August and I am wanting to know.....

Is it, and when is it, coming out for PC?

WIll it, and when will it, be on Steam?

And how much is it going to costs?

Because there is no way In hell I am buying the game twice \o/

I'd rather wait a few months and buy the remaster.

any ideas o.0 ?

It is a Bethesda game.

Of course there will be no free upgrade. But you are welcome to buy it again.

Seriously, just look at all the discount, whoops, I mean "discount", that the DLC gets every sale.

If you are about to buy the GOTY edition you will get ripped off buying it from Steam, it is overpriced here (even on sale).

I thought the definitive edition for the consoles would basically be the game running at High PC settings with some features turned on that were previously off, but if they are adding new things in, who knows. I would wait for more clarification

In the recent summer sale, the standard edition was £2.99 and the GOTY was £6.99

1 month later it's on sale again.... but for £13.39

To me that's just a bit shady. If you're going to put it on sale all the time don't keep raising and lowering the price it's just shady.... but, well, we're getting a discount so we should just keep quiet like peasants and be grateful :(

Um, I was under the impression that the graphics would be more improved in the remaster and I am a graphics ♥♥♥♥♥ so I was willing to wait for the release but now I'm not sure.

It would help if we knew how mch the remaster wil be on PC \o/

EDIT:

so, in the last hour they dropped thr price down from £13.99 to £9.99 lol

they must have been listening :)

We didn't decide yet lol

We'll get back to you after further discussion!

btw... it's now down to only £9.99

I say 'only' in the hopes that by some miracle it gets further reduced even lower before the sale ends :)

Dear Steam (HINT)... I have £6.79 in my steam wallet ;)

Except for the DLCs, they never have a good discount. If you have the standard version of Dishonored then it's cheaper to buy the GOTY then the DLCs.

What's your source for a PC version? AFAIK this is just for consoles to bring them on par with PC max settings.

Lol, I've never heard anyone complain that 40% off isn't a good discount o.O

I guess maybe if you already own the base game then you might feel that way, but in the recent summer sale, the GOTY edition (including ALL the DLC) was on sale for £6.99.

I think that's an AMAZING discount!

And this weeknd it's on sale for £9.99

Also, the individual DLC's are all on a 40% discount, which is almost half price, so.....I'm not actually sure why anyone, including myself, is complaining about being offered something they want for LESS money lol. We're such whiners lol. HOW DARE WE !

Like,

"Here! Have this AMAAAAAZING game with ALLLL this Dlc for ONLY £9.99!!!"

"Hmmm.... no, that's just totally unreasonable how dare you insult me!"

*faceypalm*

The point I made was obvious. I already had the game and buying the game for the 2nd time as GOTY is cheaper then buying the DLC's (with any sale). It's a bit lame that Dishonored owners have to buy the base game a 2nd time cos they don't discount the DLCs in such a manner that it is similar to the GOTY price. The base game I didn't get a second time cos Steam just swallows it up as you can only have one copy in your library. So a part of my purchase effectively vanished and only the DLCs were added.

Thats not fair. Man, I hope they change it. Btw, G2A is cheaper ;)

I didn't bother to state my point lol, because it should have been blatantly obvious to anyone with a brain who uses it for anything other than getting snarky with people over pointless things lol....

Even if you buy the GOTY in the sale to get the DLC, at £9.99, you are STILL getting ALL of the DLC for only £9.99 which is £12.67 LESS than if you bought all the DLC seperately at full price...

so again... what the hell are you complaining about lol ????

seriously some people just like to complain for the sake of it pfft

You're getting all the DLC at MORE than half price... who gives a **** if you don't keep a second copy of the base game \o/ You don't need it, and you're still getting all the DLC at more than half price.

It sounds more like you just resent the fact that people who don't already own the game are getting a better deal than you, because you seem to feel entitled to a better deal just because you already own the game. I'm just not sure why you think that. Life doesn't work that way lol

I mean really HOW DARE anyone get a better deal on steam than you lol the nerve of some peoples....

The GOTY makes perfgect senes on sale because it means you got the base gane (if you don't already have it) and all the DLC for a bargain, and if you already own the base game you still get all the DLC for less than half price. It's a win/win situation.

Unless you're a self-entitled whiner :)

I'm not actually sure where this sense of entitlement you seem to feel comes from.

Steam isn't obilgated to provide you wtih extra special deals or anythings lol

You got £12.67 off. Stop winging about it :P

I don;t think the Definitive Edition is comiong to PC. I haven't heard it announced, just the PS4 and the Xbox One version. I think this might be like Tomb Raider Definitive where it only released for next gen consoles and not on PC, because they are just bringing the last gen version up to par to the PC version.
